What materials are best for corrosive fluid impellers?

Stainless steel 316 or 316L is the best choice for corrosive fluid applications — it offers superior corrosion resistance and is ideal for chemical processing, water treatment, and oil & gas applications. Duplex 2205 offers even higher strength for demanding applications. Bronze is suitable for seawater.

Can you balance impellers for high-speed operation?

Yes. Dynamic balancing is available as a standard service. Impellers are balanced to ISO 1940 Grade G6.3 or better, suitable for high-speed operation. Balancing includes test run verification and certification.

What is the typical lead time for custom impellers?

Single-off custom impellers are typically completed within 3–4 weeks from quote approval, depending on complexity. Production runs of 10+ units are usually completed within 4–6 weeks. Express lead times available for rush orders.

Can you reverse engineer existing impellers?

We do not reverse engineer parts from existing samples. Instead, we work from your engineering drawing or 3D CAD file to manufacture impellers to your specification.

Do you offer performance testing for impellers?

Performance testing can be arranged through our partner test facilities. Typical tests include flow rate, pressure, and efficiency verification. Testing is quoted separately based on requirements.
