What materials are best for corrosive pump applications?

For corrosive applications, stainless steel 316 and 316L offer excellent general corrosion resistance. Duplex 2205 and super duplex stainless provide superior resistance to chloride stress corrosion cracking. Titanium and Inconel are used for extreme corrosive or high-temperature environments. Aluminium bronze is ideal for seawater applications.

What tolerances can you hold on impeller balancing?

CNC machining holds tolerances to ±0.05mm on general features. High-precision work achieves ±0.01mm. For impeller balancing, we work to ISO 1940 balance standards (G2.5 for centrifugal pumps, G1.0 for high-speed turbomachinery). Dynamic balancing is available for rotating components.

What is the typical lead time for pump components?

Simple pump components: 2–3 weeks. Medium complexity: 3–4 weeks. Complex precision assemblies: 4–6 weeks. We provide a detailed quote with lead time based on your specific geometry, material, and quantity.
