Steel 4140 is the best choice for high-torque collars — excellent strength and toughness. Stainless steel 316 or 304 offers good torque capacity with corrosion resistance. Titanium provides lightweight high-strength for aerospace applications.
Can you manufacture collars with custom bore tolerances?
Yes. Custom bore tolerances are available — we can hold ±0.01mm on bore diameter. Tapered bores, step bores, and custom bore profiles are available for precision applications.

Single-off custom collars are typically completed within 1–2 weeks from quote approval. Production runs of 50+ units are usually completed within 2–3 weeks due to simple geometry and fast machining.
Can you produce collars with keyways or set screw holes?

Do you offer surface treatments for corrosion resistance?
