What fastener types can you manufacture?
We manufacture custom fasteners for any application: bolts and screws (any head style), nuts (hex, nylock, castle, etc.), washers and shims, threaded rods and studs, shoulder bolts, captive screws with springs, thumb screws and knobs, rivets, and custom threaded inserts. Each fastener is CNC machined to your specification and material.
What materials are best for high-strength fasteners?
Stainless steel 316 is the standard for corrosion-resistant, high-strength fasteners in marine and aerospace environments. 17-4 PH stainless offers even higher strength for critical aerospace applications. Titanium Grade 5 provides maximum strength-to-weight ratio. Inconel is used for extreme-temperature applications. Steel 4140 is used for industrial fasteners where cost and strength balance is important. Each material is certified and tested to ISO and aerospace standards.
Can you manufacture fasteners to specific thread standards?
Yes. We manufacture to ISO metric (M3–M50+), UNC/UNF (American Unified), and BSP/BSPP (British) thread standards. We also produce custom thread forms and proprietary profiles. All threads are verified with thread gauges and certified to standard specifications.
What is the typical lead time for custom fasteners?
Simple fasteners (standard bolts, nuts, washers) can be delivered in 5–7 business days. Complex fasteners (shoulder bolts, captive screws, special head styles) typically take 7–10 business days. Specialized materials (Inconel, titanium) and high-volume orders may take 10–20 business days. Express scheduling is available.
Can you produce fasteners with custom head styles?
Yes. We produce custom head styles — hex, socket head, pan head, countersunk, round head, and any geometry you require. Special features like anti-tamper slots, color-coded heads, or custom logos can be added. CAD design support is included.
Do you offer surface coatings for corrosion resistance?
Yes. Surface coatings extend fastener life in harsh environments. We arrange zinc plating, nickel plating, chrome plating, anodising (aluminium), and protective oil coatings. Stainless steel fasteners are preferred for maximum corrosion resistance and require no additional coating. All coatings are quoted as part of your fastener order.
