CNC Machined Flanges Australia
We manufacture custom CNC machined flanges to ANSI, ISO, and DIN standards. Weld neck, blind, slip-on, threaded, and custom designs. All materials — stainless steel, carbon steel, Inconel, titanium. Pressure-tested. Quote in 2 business days.
Flanges We Manufacture
We machine flanges for piping, pressure vessels, and subsea applications. Every flange meets ANSI/ASME standards and pressure ratings.
ANSI/ASME Pipe Flanges
Standard welding flanges. Class 150, 300, 600, 900. All common sizes.
Custom Blind Flanges
Solid end caps for pressure vessels. Non-standard bolt patterns available.
Weld Neck Flanges
Tapered hub design for welded connections. High-strength, low-stress concentration.
Slip-On Flanges
Loose-fitting slide-on design. Used with fillet weld or lap joint.
Threaded Flanges
Internal threads for female connections. ANSI or custom thread specs.
Lap Joint Flanges
Flat-face design for loose backing flanges. Cost-effective for systems with frequent disassembly.
Orifice Flanges
Precision bore for flow measurement. Integrated tap holes for instrument connections.
Compact Flanges for Subsea
High-pressure designs with duplex and super duplex materials. Test certs included.
Materials Available for Flanges
Flange materials are chosen for pressure rating, corrosion resistance, and temperature range.
| Material | Grades | Applications |
|---|---|---|
| Stainless Steel | 316, 316L, 304 | Corrosion resistance, marine, chemical |
| Duplex Steel | 2205, 2507, Super Duplex | Subsea, extreme corrosion, high pressure |
| Carbon Steel | A105, A694 | ANSI standard, high pressure, welded |
| Inconel | 625, X750 | High temperature, chemical resistance |
| Titanium | Grade 2, Grade 5 | Extreme corrosion resistance, lightweight |

Flange Machining FAQ
What flange standards do you manufacture to?
We manufacture to ANSI/ASME B16.5 (pipe flanges), B16.47 (large diameter), and MSS SP-44 (stainless steel). We also produce flanges to ISO standards, DIN standards, and custom specifications. Standard ANSI flanges are stocked for rapid delivery. Custom flange specifications are quoted individually with lead times confirmed.
What materials are best for corrosive environments?
Stainless steel 316L is the standard choice for corrosive environments — superior resistance to saltwater, acids, and chemicals compared to 304. Super duplex 2507 is used for subsea and extreme corrosion. Inconel 625 is specified for high-temperature corrosive applications. Material certs and pressure ratings are supplied with every flange.
Can you machine flanges with custom bolt patterns?
Yes. Standard ANSI flanges follow published bolt patterns. Custom flanges with non-standard hole diameters, spacing, or counts are routinely machined. We use CAM to verify bolt patterns before production and provide dimensional verification with each shipment.
What is the typical lead time for custom flanges?
Standard ANSI flanges (Class 150, 300, 600) ship within 7–12 business days. Custom or high-pressure flanges may require 12–20 business days for detailed machining and inspection. Expedite options are available. Lead time is confirmed in your formal quote.
Do you provide pressure testing for flanges?
Pressure testing can be arranged through our testing partner. Hydrostatic testing to rated pressure is available for ANSI flanges and custom specifications. Test certificates and pressure ratings are included in your supply documentation.
What surface finishes are available for flange faces?
Standard flange faces are supplied as machined (Ra 1.6µm). Polished finishes improve sealing on raised faces. Serrated finishes improve gasket grip on flat faces. Surface finish is specified in ANSI standards and confirmed in your quote.
