What adapter types can you manufacture?
We manufacture custom adapters including threaded adapters (NPT, BSP, metric), flange adapters, hose adapters (with internal or external SAE ports), pipe adapters, shaft adapters, reducer and expander adapters, and custom profile adapters. All types are available in single-off and production quantities.
What materials are best for high-pressure adapters?
Stainless steel 316 or 316L is the best choice for high-pressure applications — it offers excellent strength, superior corrosion resistance, and is ideal for chemical and oil & gas applications. Steel 4140 provides high strength for extreme pressure. For weight-critical aerospace applications, titanium offers excellent strength-to-weight ratio. Brass is suitable for medium-pressure low-corrosion applications.
Can you manufacture adapters with multiple thread standards?
Yes. We can manufacture adapters with mixed thread standards — for example NPT on one end and BSP on the other, or metric on one end and imperial on the other. Custom thread pitches and profiles are available. Specify thread type, size, and pitch on your drawing.
What is the typical lead time for custom adapters?
Single-off custom adapters are typically completed within 2–3 weeks from quote approval, depending on complexity and material. Production runs of 50+ units are usually completed within 4–6 weeks. Express lead times are available for rush orders. Request specific lead times in your quote request.
Do you provide pressure testing for adapters?
Yes. Pressure testing is available as a value-added service. We can hydrostatic test adapters to specified pressure limits and provide test certificates. Testing is quoted separately based on required pressure rating and documentation.
Can you produce adapters for food-grade applications?
Yes. Food-grade adapters are manufactured from 316 stainless steel or 304 stainless steel, finished to food-grade hygiene standards. All food-contact materials are certified to Australian food safety standards. Certifications and material traceability are provided.
